Shayanne Marin (formerly Ortiz) is an actress, singer, and dancer whose diverse career has taken her coast to coast—from stages in New York to theatres throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Some of her most cherished theatre roles include Camila in In the Heights, Maria in The Sound of Music, Anette in God of Carnage, Gilmer/Dance Captain in Godspell, and Maureen in RENT.

Born and raised in California, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of California, Irvine (Class of 2016) and attended the world-famous Hollywood High School Performing Arts Magnet in Hollywood, CA (Class of 2012).

While she’s primarily behind the scenes these days, Shayanne continues to share her love for theatre arts by serving as an active board member for The Electric Company Theatre in Fullerton, CA and singing locally during the holiday season.
