OCPA Goes Laguna: Staged Reading of Seductive Ghosts Will Appear

Join me in Laguna Beach for an afternoon of fresh, exciting new theatre! I’m thrilled to share that I will be reading the leading role of Oh! Ornelas in Eric Eberwein’s Seductive Ghosts Will Appear as part of OCPA Goes Laguna, a special staged reading event hosted by the Orange County Playwrights Alliance (OCPA).

This unique program features three new one-act plays from Southern California playwrights:

• La Vie en Rose and Rhys by AJ Layague – Directed by Shinshin Yuder Tsai
  A happily married couple discovers an unexpected package containing a play from someone long forgotten, leading to laughter, nostalgia, and one shocking surprise.

• Not a Cloud in the Sky by Jordan R. Young – Directed by Bob May
  Two cousins reunite and discover that the half-truths they’ve been living with might not be enough anymore. Should they finally be honest—before it’s too late?

• Seductive Ghosts Will Appear by Eric Eberwein – Directed by Allison Bergman
  Pitchfork adored them. They were big in Norway. They had cool merch. Now, former bandmates Oh! Ornelas (me!) and Sebastian Whelan must decide whether getting the band back together will revive their glory days—or destroy what’s left of them.

OCPA, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, is Orange County’s premier incubator for new theatre. No Square Theatre is a nonprofit dedicated to affordable, high-quality community theatre in Laguna Beach.
